Doc was rescued from a city with a breed ban. Because the city ordinance described a pit bull as one with a big blocky head, he was put on death row. Fortunately he has an amazing temperament and is very polite (and tons of fun too!), so we were able to save him before he was euthanized. Upon closer examination, Doc appears to be a bulldog mix with a laborador retriever coat and short lab tail.

Doc is the life of the party! He loves everyone he meets and plays like a big overgrown puppy. In fact, Doc IS a puppy...he's a little over a year old and hippity hops all around town. Doc is currently in a foster home and gets along great with his foster brother. He has excellent house manners and knows basic commands. Doc walks well on a leash and is a fantastic bully ambassador. Doc would prefer to go to a home with other dogs, perhaps a bouncy sister that he can play with! Doc's ideal day would be spent going to the park or daycare where he can run and wade in the pool, play tag and hide and seek with other dogs, and meet new people. Then he would come home to a nice size bowl of dog food and nestle up on the couch with his forever family.
