Nicknames:
Maugy (mah-gee) Maug-doggy, Sissy, Irish,
Hello All:
I thought it was about time I update my bio since I did so much
growing up in the past year.
My name is Mahagony Annabelle, but I go by Maugy. I was born on
Halloween 2007, to Mama Lucy and have been living at my foster home
with my brother Renzo since I was 8 weeks old.
My foster Mom tells me I have to be a reincarnation of Bette Davis
and Lucille Ball, due to the fact I’m a drama queen with a
twisted sense of comedian thrown in. I will speak up and say I have
to agree, life is fun so I live it to the fullest and every once
in a while I do get dramatic.
In my first year of life I have discovered I have a list of things
I love, a list of things I tolerate and a list of things I hate.
Things I love: carrying things around in my mouth, pig ears, ice
cream cones from Sonic, short rides in the car, going shopping,
swimming, running, wrestling, watching t.v. snuggling in the blankets
with my family and most of all my foster brothers and sisters. I
even love the two cats I live with.
Things I tolerate: baths, waiting my turn, being told sit, stay,
quiet, and patience, and having to share the blankets.
Things I hate: being told no, squirt bottles, garden hoses, rainy
days, cold days and nights, long rides in the car ( I tend to get
a tad car sick), and not having a blanket to snuggle in.
I am a good girl, at least that is what I’m told constantly.
Since I have grown up I have taken on several roles at the foster
home. When one of the siblings cry, I run to them and kiss them
and make them stop, I help after dinner by picking up all the dog
bowls and carry them to Mom and Dad to put them up. I have to protect
the cats and Sam the poodle (since they are little) from everything
that could possibly hurt them, when we go for a ride in the car,
I sit real still in my seat, and when we go shopping I try to say
Hi to everyone in the store, so they all know that bully’s
are good dogs and not bad. I share my toys and have been working
on catching treats in my mouth. They tell me I’m cold blooded
cause I shiver when I go out and its chilly so I wear my sweatshirt.
Mom says I have grown into a beautiful young redhead with pretty
gold eyes. I weigh 52 pounds on my birthday and the Doc says I’m
done growing. She also said that I’m petite and the only reason
I weigh that much is I’m solid muscle, then she gave me a
excellent health check a treat and a birthday spanking and sent
me on my way home.
Note from Maugy:
Hey all,
I’m Mahogany, but I go by Maugy. I am one of eight kids born
to Lucy on Halloween 2007.
I am living with my brother Renzo at our foster home. We have lots
of other dogs to play with here and two cats that totally amaze
me. I mean seriously what are they good for except sitting on and
making them squeal. Hehehe that’s quite fun but Mom gets after
me and makes me apologize.
Some of my favorite things so far in my short life are pig ears,
stuffed toys, wrestling with my foster sisters and brothers, sleeping,
going for rides in the car and Petsmart. That place is amazing have
you ever seen so much cool stuff to chew on. When no one is looking,
I’ll pick something out and carry it around for a while that
is until they make me put it up.
I am getting good at walking on a leash even though it seems way
to short but I’m told it’s for my own good. I am doing
real good at sit, stay, patience (I like to wiggle and patience
helps me sit and wait my turn).
I love to help around the house like chasing the vacuum, doing dishes,
laundry and something called making the bed. I am a good jumper
and get on the bed when Mom is putting the blankets on and I help
pull them on the bed, I think it makes Mom mad at times when I run
the wrong way with the blanket, but she usually ends up laughing.
I love to snuggle at naptime I will just crawl into your arms. I
love laying on my back with my belly up. And if you rub my belly,
I usually fall asleep instantly.
I have beautiful green eyes and red hair that is why they nicknamed
me Irish.
I am having a good time with my foster family but more then anything
else I would love to have my very own family.
Well got to go I think Mom is getting ready to vacuum.
Love
Maugy
