About Shelby:

Shelby's story is both horrific and now triumphant as well. We were notified about Shelby from a local animal hospital, we received an email that said a sweet pit bull was found bleeding profusely and brought into their clinic. Upon examining her it was determined that Shelby had been raped by a human. Our hearts litterally broke when we heard this. Emotions mixed with overwhelming sadness for this poor innocent girl and anger at whoever could do such a horrid act to her.

Shelby on the other hand hasn't let her ordeal set her back in the least. She is the most wonderful and affectionate little girl. She adores people and is getting along with the dogs in her foster home. She has a happy spirit and is a very people orientated dog. She always wants to be with her people.

She's an amazing girl and we are very honored to have her in our care. She is going to make a fantastic companion to some lucky home.
