Requirements: 25 years or older, privacy fence, previous breed experience.

Sterling is not only a sharp looking boy, but is a perfect listener! Sterling knows a wealth of commands and immediately sits at attention and waits for his handlers next move. We have never met a more obedient dog, and sweet too! Sterling and Wally were found in a city with a breed ban and had such amazing temperaments that they were able to be saved. Sterling is a smart boy, but a bit of a follower with his brother Wally (Sterling is the younger of the two). He has a slightly higher energy level and likes to run and play tag, or play tug or catch, whereas Wally is content to lounge around and people watch.

Sterling would love to go to a family with another dog or an active family that can take him on road trips, hiking, or other fun adventures. Don't be fooled, Sterling is an absolute lover. He would much rather sit with you on the couch than play, but sure is a happy boy when he's playing. Sterling must go to a home with a privacy fence and someone with breed experience for his own safety. Sterling is no guard dog and would welcome any stranger with kisses, so it is important that he be kept safe from people with bad intentions. This amazing boy is patiently waiting for his forever home, but would love to have a foster family to come home to in the meantime.
