My Story:

As of June 15th, we believe this little guy is between 4-6 months old. He is 33 pounds and in excellent health. He made his way to us as a stray, and is currently in a wonderful foster home being socialized with cats, dogs, and a young boy (who loves to crawl in his crate and hang out with him). However, he is showing a little too much interest in the kitties currently, so at this time we feel he'd be best placed in a home without cats. He is excellent with the other dogs and children.

Wolfgang is already crate-trained and doing well on housebreaking, holding it 7 hours at nightime.

What an attentive and bright puppy! He is very intrigued with everything around him, is outgoing, loving, and has a wonderful mix of energy, cuddle-bility, charm, and is a looker. We have no idea how big he might get, but he's got at least another 6 months of growing.

He has a beautiful lush coat, very thick and short, as an Akita, with the coloring of a German Shepherd or Belgian Malinois. Because he does have such a thick and lovely double coat, this will require some extra work in grooming and something to take into account when deciding if this is the right dog for your household. He does have some black on his tongue; there are many breeds with members having markings on the tongue- Akita and Malinois included.

We prefer Wolfgang go to a home with a fenced in yard and with someone who understands his breed background- he is very, very smart and likes to "do". A home with a female canine companion would be great or even as an only dog, but no other male dogs. Email with questions.
