“Maximus” earned a fast-pass into the North Kansas City Animal Shelter when he was spotted hanging out at Macken Park. Presumably abandoned, he’s called the shelter his home since mid-April. Though the North Kansas City Animal Control usually doesn’t adopt out pit bulls, we are confident that Max is young and impressionable enough to make a great pet for a seasoned dog owner. He’s a very energetic dog with a need for attention. His favorite hobby? Flopping down in the grass for a good, long belly rub (and a nice back-scratching if he’s got the time). He loves to play and is all muscle, so an able-bodied handler will be required to reel in this eccentric canine.
