Probably would be best to be placed in a home without other dogs
I got adopted by a really nice guy back in 2007. But because of hard times, he felt it was in my best interest to return me to MABBR. Luckily, there was a foster home waiting for me and now I live with 3 other dogs. I didn’t get a lot of time with other dogs as I was growing up so my friend skills need work. I want to be friends but I’m just not sure how to go about it.
It didn’t take us long to figure out how this little guy pulled the heartstrings of the ones who work with so many dogs that have so little time. He is a charmer. He is an active man and loves to snuggle. He’s a talker and loves to play with his toys. But mostly he thinks he’s a big lap dog. He’s got some minor skin issues that we’re working on but other than that, he’s a healthy 8 year old kid.
Nugs walks well on leash and has been outstanding at the events he has attended.
MABBR is entirely funded by donations. Our expenses include pet vaccinations, spaying and neutering, parasite treatment, and medication for any pets with special needs. Additionally, we must pay for boarding for dogs waiting for foster homes to become available.
