Volunteering

We are a volunteer run organization. Because we do not have a physical shelter, we rely on foster homes to keep the dogs until they are adopted. Unfornunately not all of our volunteers are able to foster.

But we can always use more volunteers! Please go to our online Volunteer questionnaire.

If you have other areas of interest such as printing, transport, helping at adoption events, event hosting, advertising, graphics, photography, etc., please note them on your questionnaire.

We also board several of our dogs at a facility in South Kansas City, so we have a kennel team that goes several times a week (they rotate days) to spend time with each dog. They usually take them for a walk, a run or just spend “quality time” with them. Our volunteers are not required to clean kennels. They definitely need some help and are really flexible about working around your schedule.
