Another reason why BSL doesn’t work
Which one is an American Pit Bull Terrier?
There are currently over 25 breeds in the US that are commonly mistaken for APBT’s. Pretty much any dog with a “big head” or brindle in color is considered a pit bull by today’s standards.
Test your skills, Can you pick out the pit bull?
Pretty hard to tell huh? Well, the answer is NONE of the dogs above is an American Pit Bull Terrier.
If you think just because you don’t own an APBT your dog is safe, you’re WRONG. Any of these dogs could be and often are mistaken for pit bulls, as are many dogs that look much less pittie than those above. It’s not just the pit bulls that are in danger currently, it is ALL dogs. Get involved and protect your rights to responsibly own your pet!
