Hi, I'm Zoomie!

But you may call me Packy, Pacman, Sir Pac-a-Lot, or “HEY DROP THAT!”)

Age: About 2.5 human years, which is roughly 17 in dog years and approximately 400 in Zoomies Years.

Stats:

  • Male (fixed… tragic, but I’ve moved on)
  • Vaccinated (I was very brave)
  • Microchipped (so the humans can track my adventures)
  • A solid 60+ lbs of snuggle-powered muscle

🦴 My Favorite Things

  • Lap Snuggles — I will sit on you. I don’t care who you are. I am a lap dog.
  • Couch Cuddles — If you sit, I sit. If you lay down, I lay down. I am basically your furry shadow.
  • Snoring — I snore like a freight train hauling squeaky toys.
  • Throw Pillows — I nibble them. I chew them. I love them. But I can be redirected… allegedly.

🐾 Things I’m Working On

  • Leash Walking — I pull a little. Okay, a lot. But I’m learning!
  • Excited Mouthiness — Sometimes I forget I’m not a baby shark. I respond well to correction though.
  • Recall — I come when called… unless I’m busy doing something extremely important, like sniffing a leaf.
  • Crate Time — I’m learning to hold it longer. Progress is being made. Gold stars appreciated.

🐶 More About Me (from yours truly)

My foster mom says she wishes she had half my energy. I say she should try more zoomies. They work wonders.

Sometimes I get sent to my crate for a “time-out” or “attitude adjustment.” I call it my personal meditation chamber. I come out refreshed, enlightened, and ready to make better choices… usually.

I love my foster mom the most. She is my favorite human. But if she’s busy, I will absolutely snuggle with foster dad or the brothers. I am an equal-opportunity cuddler.

I’m a little unsure about strange men at first, but I warm up quickly once I determine they are treat dispensers.

I play INTENSELY. Like… WWE but with wagging. I’d do best with a dog who can match my energy. Mellow dogs might file complaints.

I take correction better from bossy lady dogs (respect). But I get along great with all five of my foster siblings. I am basically the chaotic little brother.

I haven’t met cats or tiny critters yet. I do have a slight prey drive, but I’m not mean — I just like to roughhouse and chase things that move. I’m good at being redirected though.

My foster mom says I’d make a great running partner and that it might “take the vinegar out of me.” I don’t know what vinegar is, but if it’s in me, I’ll run it out.

I love car rides. I load up like a champ and travel like a seasoned road-trip professional.
