Welcome to Mid-America Bully Breed
Rescue
Welcome! MABBR was created by a group of bully breed enthusiasts to save
these delightful but often misunderstood dogs. Not only does MABBR rescue
and find homes for homeless bull breeds such as American Pit Bull Terriers,
American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, Bull Terriers, Staffordshire
Bull Terriers, Bull Mastiffs, mixed breeds, and other Mollasser-type dogs,
MABBR also focuses on education, outreach, and assisting cities with drafting
safer and more effective breed-neutral dangerous dog laws.

Incredi-bulls for Adoption MABBR's mission is to rescue great bully breed ambassadors and
place them for adoption. Candidate MABBR
dogs are selected from animal shelters across the Midwest. After evaluation
and vetting, dogs are either fostered or boarded until their forever families
are found.

Featured New Beginning - A Perfect Match!
Last
fall a litter of four puppies came down with parvovirus. While we treated
them all, unfortunately only two survived. Arturo came home from the emergency
vet weighing 2.5 lbs. He was skin and bones and was in so much pain and
so sick he would grind his teeth and shake day and night. Arturo's foster
mom couldn't let him go after all he had been through and ended up adopting
him. Arturo pulled through and is now a whopping 40 lbs. with room to
grow! He's all legs (and ears), standing taller than his sister (who's
a Rottweiler!). He knows basic commands and is working on his specialized
military crawl trick and rolling over. Arturo is well socialized and loves
to play with his family. He attends day care and loves to meet new people.
He's still a puppy so he chews on shoes and plays tug with his sister.
His foster mom calls him "hop along" as he leaps and bounds
everywhere he goes, he also loves to wrestle with all his doggie family
and friends. Thank you to all who donated to save our puppies. Arturo
is a loving, entertaining, and irreplaceable member of his family and
will grow to be a great breed representative
In Memory of those we couldn't save in time.... Special thank you to Lisa Carestia for her donation
in memory of Cisco, Cassie and Bowie, who sadly couldn't be saved in time.
They will be forever missed along with so many others...
