Rocky Road was found dumped by Longview Lake by a group of Healthcare workers. He was tired, hungry and wanted to be loved. He jumped right in his rescuer’s car, curled up and fell asleep.
Since being saved, Rocky’s personality has shown through as a loving and protective cuddle bug. Rocky would love to be with a caring family that enjoys long walks and serious cuddle time. He knows basic commands and eager to please. He’s a quick learner and we are currently working on leash training. He does enjoy leisurely jogs in the park. Rocky has not shown any issues with food aggression. He lives in a home with 4 other dogs and fits in well with the pack. He is a dominant male and does not like snippy dogs so we think Rocky would do best in a house with another medium to large female dog. Rocky has not been cat tested although he does show too much interest in cats outside and will chase down rabbits.
Rocky would make a great addition to any family who is looking for an over- sized lap dog who wants to cuddle and make his family happy.
