This handsome guy is Angus. He is about 2 years old and 85 lbs. of muscle and American Bulldog pouty face. Angus has been thru a lot in his short life and was likely kept outside since he was relinquished to the shelter heartworm positive and heartbroken.
This big boy was pretty rough around the edges when he first came to us. He has made such remarkable improvement and we are incredibly proud of the dog he’s become. He loves his people and is learning to be around other dogs in his daily pack walks. Angus would probably do best as the only dog since he tends to be selective about other dogs.
Angus loves toys and will entertain himself for hours with his favorite blue ball. Now that he’s comfortable in his surroundings, we’re starting to see the real Angus. He’s learned to be gentle when he plays. He’s a staff favorite at the boarding facility.
