Elijah, The Original(s)

Hi my name is Elijah. I was named after Elijah Mikaelson from the CW series’ The Vampire Diaries and the Originals. Why? Well you see, I was rescued from a hoarding situation not too long ago and getting stronger by the day. I was one of the 2 ORIGINALS. Yep, thats right…I was the first dog that started the whole 60+ dogs thing, what can I say? Despite the situation I came from, I am still a pretty confident guy and I absolutely adore humans of all ages. I love toys and showing them to my humans. I sometimes like to be a tricky trickster by faking out the humans at the boarding facility when its time for me to go to my kennel. I go to the entrance and then when they are behind me, I make a run for it! But its really all fun and games, I actually don’t mind the kennel and I am good in a kennel! I also LOVE car rides, did some say adventure dog???

I have all the love to offer with the gentlest kisses. I would love getting all the pets, hugs, and kisses! Can I come learn life and play with you? I have spent my whole life living outside with 60+ dogs but I am definitely growing accustomed to this indoor life. The other dogs that came from my situation are doing great in their foster homes that have cats and dogs in them, the humans suspect that I would be fine as well based on my temperament. I did spend at least 2 years of my life correcting and corralling  my many many many children.  It was pretty stressful to live with that many dogs outside, so I would love a human and a dog that could show a bit of patience with me adjusting.
