My name is Lincoln and I am searching for my forever family. I don’t know why I was at that shelter. They said they were going to put me to sleep until my soon-to-be foster mom read about me on Facebook and drove three hours to get me out of there. I don’t know what I did to get there because my foster mom says I’m fantastic through and through!! Heck, I even come with a Good Canine Citizenship designation! I aced that test with flying colors!!
I am really calm at adoption events, so much so that I stand out. A lot of people come up to me, young and old alike, and tell me how remarkable my behavior is…and I love every minute of their attention. I would be a great companion to take anywhere! I’m down with going to a local cafe for a cup of coffee, or cruising down the road for a new wilderness adventure! I am truly that versatile and would be well suited for anything that life throws at me and you.
While I may not be the next agility champion, my personality is tops! My prey drive is not high and I’ve yet to meet a dog or cat that I don’t like. I love going on walks with my pack family and I am super easy going when I pass other’s on the street. In fact, I’m chill enough that the neighborhood squirrels want to become my friend. I have medium to medium low energy, and I’m a pretty smart dude. I am treat motivated, crate trained and I go do my business in the yard, not in my house. I would thrive in a home that consistently exercises me and would keep me mentally challenged. I love learning new tricks and learning new ways to have fun. If playing fetch is your thing, I’ve got my own twist on the game that will be entertaining for us both.
If I seem like I might be your prince charming, go please fill out an application. My foster Mom knows me pretty well, and she would be happy to fill you in on everything you need to know.
Love,
Lincoln
