Roxy is about 8 years old. In 2008, we rescued her entire litter from a couple who let their dogs breed. Roxy was adopted out as a puppy but was returned to us about 3 1/2 years later due to her owner losing his job and home in 2011. She is a love to most of the dogs she meets and she completely ignores cats. When her foster dad goes out of town, he kennels her where MABBR kennels some of their dogs and they say it takes her about a half hour to get back to her run because she has to stop and say hi to every dog on the way. Sometimes she’ll stop and visit for a few minutes.
Roxy has been waiting a long time to find her forever home. She does have a few medical issues that come with an older dog such as arthritis but it’s nothing that can’t be managed with a good diet, a little exercise and the right supplements.
