This special freckled girl was saved by MABBR from being euthanized at a shelter that was unsuccessful in getting her a home. We will never know why so many people walked past her kennel and showed no interest in this loveable girl. She is an angel that will love just about any human that comes into her life. Rabbit is about 2 years old and around 50lbs. She has been in and out of the shelter system the last two years through no fault of her own. Her previous owners weren’t very responsible and Rabbit found herself surrendered back to the shelter.
Rabbit is so very different from what you would first think when meeting her in the kennel and in playgroups. She’s smart, curious and generous. We hope someone gets a chance to see her the way we do and makes her their own.
Rabbit knows how to live in a home environment since she lived the majority her life with a family. She is crate trained and potty trained. She enjoyed playgroups at her previous shelter and now at our boarding facility as well. She is a rough and tumble girl and would love a doggy friend to match her play style. She also enjoys her chill time.
She is a sensitive soul full of love and kisses. She is gentle and loveable. Rabbit LOVES people and because of her circumstances (being in boarding), her access to her favorite thing in the world (people) is less than normal. She would likely enjoy human kiddos. An adopter with the ability to allow her some time to settle before having full access to small kiddos would be ideal. Her kisses and loving nature would surely bring the biggest smile to any kid (or adult for that matter) that is lucky enough to receive her love. Rabbit is longing for that final destination, a place to call home.
