Hi, my name is Athena and I was found running the streets of East Topeka, my dad posted that he was looking for me and that he was out of town on a military assignment. He was supposed to come and get me but has not contacted my foster mom about getting me back and ignores her messages.
I need a little time to warm up to people and other dogs, but once I do I am the BEST dog. I can be a little over protective but I think with a little training I can learn what my people expect from me and I will be a well mannered girl.
I have been a little overexcited about the cats in the house so foster mom keeps a baby gate between us for now so I don’t chase them around too much. I love laying in laps, chewing on bones and wrestling with my foster brother Bandit. I really just want a home of my own with parents who will love me and treat me right. I am a very good climber so a secure fence and close monitoring will be necessary for me until I settle in.
