This handsome guy is the happiest boy you will ever meet. You would never know this Bowie was in a small shelter for a year after being taken from a cruelty case.  We welcomed him into our program and after spending a few months in boarding, we were able to find him the best foster home.  Here’s what they have to say about Bowie:

Bowie is a very sweet and playful boy who wants to be wherever his people are. He is fully house trained and has not had a single accident since coming to be a foster with us. He learned to be comfortable in the kennel within 4 days, and will go in on his own if there is a comfy bed inside. He sometimes has some mild separation anxiety and may whine a little when we first leave but settles in quickly to sleep or have alone time. He is a really good listener, and already has picked up on “stay” and “drop” without extensive training. Bowie does great when we take him in our backyard with our neighbor dogs barking at us, he barely reacts or cares which makes him very easy to handle in those situations. On walks he can get a little excited about squirrels or cats. Bowie loves to play with our dog, they love to wrestle and jump around, he is usually ready to take a break first, but has the energy to go a few rounds of wrestling through the day, with lots of naps in between and looking out the window. Bowie would love a forever home that is looking for a sweet, loving boy who loves to cuddle on the couch or the bed, play with toys and play in the kiddie pool! He does the cutest little jump and spin when he is excited to go on a walk, and when he’s really comfortable he does a little contented pig snort, he would easily fit into a home looking for a gentle, fun, cuddlebug!
