Meet Jade!

This small but mighty girl came to Mid America Bully Breed Rescue in dire need of medical attention. She was attacked by another dog after she was kenneled with it, and denied veterinary care for 24 hours before MABBR was able to intervene. Fast forward eight months, Jade has had the surgeries she needs and the opportunity to recover physically & mentally in a loving foster home. Now it’s time she find her forever home!

Jade loves backyard time, belly rubs, walks, tennis balls and cuddling. She’s currently in a foster home with another dog and she’s doing great, so she would be best in a home with an easy going dog friend or as an only child. She knows a number of commands (sit, stay, touch, come) and learns quickly. Warning – she’s impossible not to be happy around because she is constantly wagging her tail.

She is shy at first when it comes to people, but once she trusts you, you have a best friend for life. She is fully housebroken and given her history prefers to be closed in a room versus a kennel when left alone. Because slow and steady is the key to success with Jade, a home with young children would not be a good fit.

Jade is a true testament to the resilience, bravery and unconditional love of animals, and anyone that takes this sweet girl home will have hit the jackpot.
