In a foster home
Housebroken and crate trained
Not good with small children
Good with dogs and cats
Josie is a true tomboy. She’s spunky and loves a good romp with her dog friends as much as she loves a good cuddle. This gorgeous little girl is packed full of energy and even after a day at day care with her equally energized doggy friends, she’s still ready for round 2 with her foster brothers who don’t share her enthusiasm quite so much. She’s smart as a whip although she doesn’t always like to do what she’s told. There’s lots of puppy left in this little one year old gem. She likes to give hugs and is very gentle when she puppy nips so we think little humans are a definite option in her future.
We think Josie would do well in a home that’s very active with an equally active doggy buddy. She’ll zip around the yard like she just got shot out of a rocket and then she’s content to chew on a stick. She’s an avid fan of the outdoors and can easily entertain herself with the right toy.
After spending 4 months in a shelter in a town that doesn’t allow dogs that look like her, she’s ready to settle into a place she can call home.
