This little beefcake is Poppa and he is 2 years old. He’s small at only 40 lbs. but very muscular. He was surrendered to rescue with his daughter, Ripa, and he is such a great dad. Poppa is calm and shy at first but warms up very quickly and will do pretty much anything for a treat.
Poppa is great with more low key dogs and extremely tolerant of puppies. He loves to play fetch and knows how to bring the ball back. We are working on basic commands and leash etiquette. He has been around younger children but we have not been able to cat test him.
He will need at least a 6′ fence. He’s a climber and can easily go over a 4′ fence.
